I sat and watched this guy trying to get back into his boat for around twenty minutes before someone came to his rescue. Every time he pulled the boat upright it went all the way over to the other side. So funny to watch! This was taken at Jumbles Reservoir - it lies in Jumbles Country Park, in the valley of Bradshaw Brook, partly in the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton, Greater Manchester, and partly in Blackburn with Darwen, Lancashire.
One day I received a call instructing me to quickly drive up to Anglezarke moor, when I did, this is what greeted me.
It doesn't matter where you are in the U.K. You are being watched!
Around every one in ten winters you get a really bad one. Temperatures stay below zero for a couple of months. When the frost is gone the roads are even worse than they were before the freeze. Taken on Pall Mall in Chorley - January 2010.
This is the old house that was slap bang in the middle of Birkacre woods with no tarmac roads to it. Legend has it that the old guy who lived there wouldn't sell up and move out (he was living in the middle of a newly formed park named 'Birkacre park'), so, as soon as he'd died it got bulldozed instantly.
The man in question was very old by the time he died and the remnants of his life were scattered all around the place.
All sorts of trinkets and knick-knacks that had no value apart from the memory or reason that the keeper placed on things he kept. He was definitely a hoarder. I can't remember when I took this photo, but I think it was around 2010 (ish).
This big thing dominates the landscape when you're in Chorley. It doesn't matter where you are stood you can see it within a few steps. This pic is taken whilst stood on Great Hill which is pretty close to it.
You gotta use your imagination guys. 100% Safe. Photo was taken high on Anglezarke moor during the bad winter of 2009/2010.
You gotta get a bit of an adrenaline fix now and then. Thats my friend Nick who I haven't seen for far too long.
This is one of my regularly visited locations. That view inspires me every single time I see it. The inspiration varies.

To some, that's just what life feels like. Photo taken on the (used to be busy) Market Street in Chorley town centre around 2010.
