This is me...
I take photographs of the world around me. I love to spend lots of time amongst untouched nature. When I have to visit urban areas my attention turns to the presence of nature amongst human civilisation. I become amazed by the efficiency in which life will push aside the ever-encroaching presence of human existence. I also love to take photo's of people - which constantly amaze and perplex me.
My photo diary, is, in another part, a protest to the edited version of life that people tend to post on social media. I intend to post at least one photograph a day which was taken that day. Being a normal person who has to work for a living, excitement doesn't really lurk around every corner! Whatever photo speaks to me from that day will get posted - whether it's an epic landscape shot whilst taken on a rural roam, or sat watching the workmen over the road pour concrete (which was today's highlight!).
My favourite kind of photography is definitely landscape. As I like to go on random wanders, and due to the fact the U.K. has some of the greenest, most beautiful rural areas in the world, I do tend to get the odd epic shot! But on the flip side of the coin, the northwest of England (where I live) is a pretty low income "make the best of it" type of place, so you do get to see some pretty random events and people.
